Ear lobe tissues are occasionally stretched and even torn by accident —sometimes unnoticeably, and by wearing large or heavy jewelry.
Ear lobe repair or reconstruction is performed at our office by experienced physicians who use microsurgical techniques and instruments; this approach allows for the ear lobe tissues to heal with a very small hair-line scar. These reconstructive procedures minimize trauma to the ear's delicate tissues and prepare them for piercing in a few weeks.
The following pictures show the left ear of a 26 years old female patient who consulted for a split earlobe, caused by wearing large, heavy earrings as a teenager. At the time of reconstruction, the split —about five years old, was fully healed.
Ear Lobe Repair Fees: $480 - $860 Fees vary depending on the number and complexity of the lesions at the time of consultation.
